Meeting Rooms in Jeddah for When the Boardroom Is Too Small
A company boardroom seats twenty. A general assembly, an all-hands meeting or a dealer conference needs a hall. Palazzo Ballroom hosts meetings from about fifty attendees to two thousand, with a stage, screens and a sound system.

At a glance
Palazzo Ballroom offers meeting rooms in Jeddah for large gatherings of about 50 to 2,000 people. Each hall has a raised stage, projection screens, a sound system with fixed and wireless microphones and a registration area, with coffee breaks and ample parking. Palazzo pricing is available on request and depends on your event date and number of attendees. For fewer than fifty people, a business centre or hotel meeting room is the better fit.

Which Meetings Need a Hall?
A search for meeting rooms in Jeddah can mean a room for ten by the hour or a hall for five hundred shareholders. We are the second kind, and we say so at the outset to save the time of anyone looking for the first.
| Meeting | Typical size | Best venue |
|---|---|---|
| Team or board meeting | 5 to 20 | A meeting room in a business centre or hotel |
| Internal workshop or management offsite | 20 to 50 | A small hotel function room |
| Branch or division staff meeting | 50 to 200 | One of our halls |
| General assembly of a company or association | 100 to 800 | A hall with a stage and registration area |
| Annual all-hands meeting | 300 to 2,000 | The halls combined, theatre style |
| Dealer or distributor meeting | 100 to 500 | One hall for the presentation, another for lunch |
The smallest professional booking we take is a workshop or meeting of about fifty. Below that the hall would be neither economical for you nor comfortable for your attendees.
What Changes in a Large Meeting
Around a boardroom table everyone sees and hears everyone else. Past fifty people that stops being true, and the following become requirements rather than refinements:
- A raised platform, so the back row sees the speaker. Each hall has a main stage with stage lighting.
- Sound that carries. Fixed microphones for the platform and wireless ones that travel through the audience for questions.
- Screens readable from a distance, for slides, figures and resolutions.
- Registration. A reception area at the entrance for sign-in and badges, which is essential at a general assembly where a quorum has to be counted.
- Parking. Hundreds of cars arriving within the same hour. There is a large car park in front of the halls.
- A break area. Coffee served away from the seating, so side conversations carry on without holding up the session.
Seating Layouts for Meetings
| Layout | When to choose it | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Theatre rows | The platform presents and the audience listens: assemblies and all-hands meetings | Highest capacity, up to 2,000 with the halls combined |
| Classroom | Attendees take notes or work on papers | Capacity depends on the hall; we send a seating plan |
| Round tables | Group discussion, or a meeting followed by a meal | Usually ten to a table |
| Head table on the platform | A board facing its shareholders | Added to any of the layouts above |
Seating is flexible. If you have another arrangement in mind, send it and we will tell you what suits your numbers. All the seating styles are described on Palazzo halls and capacities.
Planning the Meeting
A Checklist for General Assemblies
General assemblies are the most procedure-bound of large meetings. This is a practical list for the organiser. The items that concern the venue are handled with your coordinator:
- Book the hall before the notice of meeting goes out, so the venue appears in the notice itself.
- Enough registration desks at the entrance, with the register of shareholders or members.
- A platform for the chair, the secretary and the auditor.
- At least one wireless microphone for contributions from the floor.
- A screen for the agenda and the financial statements.
- A technical rehearsal before attendees are admitted.
- Refreshments before the meeting opens, not during it.
The formal requirements for convening an assembly are set by the relevant regulations and your own articles. The venue provides the room and the equipment.
Half Day or Full Day?
Palazzo pricing is available on request and depends on your event date and number of attendees. A morning meeting with one coffee break is not the same booking as a full day with two breaks and lunch. When you ask for a quote, give four things: the number attending, the start and finish times, the number of breaks, and whether lunch or dinner follows. A formal quote and an outline running plan reach you the same day.
Breakout Sessions
The venue has three halls that divide and combine. A plenary can sit in the Grand Hall while working groups use the adjoining halls, and everyone returns for the close. For a programme built on parallel tracks across a whole day, see conference hall in Jeddah.
Delegates Arriving From Other Cities
The venue stands on Al Haramain Road, the expressway that runs down the east side of Jeddah from the airport. Terminal 1 is 17.8 km away, a drive we measured at 18 to 28 minutes across the evening rush hour on Wednesday 30 September 2026. The Haramain high-speed railway station in As Sulimaniyah is 10.2 km and 14 minutes away. Delegates reach the venue without crossing the city centre. Distances from sixteen points in Jeddah are tabulated on Palazzo Ballroom location.
Independent Hall or Hotel?
A hotel is an excellent choice up to a few hundred people, and whenever attendees are staying there. Beyond that, three differences appear: capacity, which here reaches 2,000; parking that attendees do not share with hotel guests; and the option of splitting three halls between a plenary and side rooms. We have no guest rooms, so if accommodation at the venue is a requirement, a hotel is the right answer.
