What the Photos Show

A good photo sells you the venue; a photo you understand helps you decide. Here is what to look at in each.

The Wedding Stage and Aisle

The first photo is taken from the back of the hall looking towards the stage. You can see the white stage where the bridal backdrop (kosha) is set, the central aisle the bride walks down, and sofa seating for guests on either side. Notice that the stage is raised and that no pillars stand between it and the seats, so every table has a clear view. The colours and design of the stage change with each booking; the photo shows one example.

The Dome and Chandelier

The gilded dome is what sets the Grand Hall apart. The second photo shows it with the crystal chandelier hanging at its centre above the round tables. These are fixed parts of the building, not hired décor, so they are there for every event without adding to your styling bill.

Tables Laid for Dinner

The third and fourth photos are panoramas that take in the whole hall at once, set with round tables; in the fourth the tables have navy linen and dinner place settings. The number and layout of tables follow your guest list, and the three halls combine when needed to hold more than 2000 guests. Linen colours and flowers are chosen when you plan the styling.

Events and the Stage

The fifth photo is from an event held at the venue: the audience seated in rows, with lighting in the organiser's colours. The sixth shows the stage with its projection screen and a row of gold chairs beneath one of the chandeliers. This is the layout used for conferences and graduation ceremonies, covered on the conference hall page.

A Ramadan Iftar

The last photo is from a Ramadan iftar held in the hall: dates, Arabic coffee and juice on the table, with guests at their tables behind. The venue hosts company and organisation iftars every Ramadan, as the corporate events page explains. Wedding catering and the dinner buffet are described on the packages page.

What Photos Cannot Show

Photos do not convey the size of the room, how it sounds, or how easy it is to reach. That is why we suggest a visit before you book: walk the three halls, see the separate entrances and the parking, and test the drive from home. The location and distances from Jeddah's districts have their own page, and viewings are free every day.
